I did not have to wait long for an appointment following my GP referral. The member of staff whom I saw was thorough in her examination and discussed with me the possible reasons for my problem. She demonstrated with me a series of exercises which could help alleviate and symptoms and arranged a follow-up appointment.

I was seen at Downton surgery by Jonathan Northcott, physiotherapist. I have had physiotherapy before and have never had such thorough treatment. He was caring and explained the condition well. I was much better by the time I had my appointment but hoped for help to prevent future problems and Jonathan was very understanding, honest and suggested excercises which were appropriate for me. I am very grateful. It would have been better not to have waited so long but on the other hand it didn't really matter as I did past excercises and improved. If I need to see a physiotherapist again I would be happy if it were Jonathan. Thank you. some of the question are not applicable but I have to complete them to submit so I have put not at all for them

I am extremely happy with my ongoing care from SDH. Sometimes rheumatology appointments are changed multiple times, causing a little commotion with arranging work schedules, but having conducted an extensive survey into my options (took me 4.5 seconds) (ongoing lifetime care at SHD on NHS = £0 : Private = £lots and lots) I have opted to continue with NHS and BE GRATEFUL!!!!!! Thank you. "Was your carer or family member involved enough in decisions made about you?" - had to answer "not at all", when correct answer was "not applicable"......

The Hospital is kept as clean as I think possible given the number of people and the amount of equipment that travels through the building on a daily basis. In my experience all the staff appear friendly, caring, courteous and helpful no matter what time of day or night. I have nothing but praise for the whole of Salisbury District Hospital and staff.
